The Lucas Marcelli Wrestling Scholarship Application Form
Application Must be Submitted by April 16th of each year.
The Lucas Marcelli Wrestling Scholarship is in honor of Lucas Vincent Marcelli who wrestled at Jackson from Fall of 2009 to Spring of 2013 who tragically passed away in August of 2014. To honor his memory and spirit, this scholarship is designed to award a wrestler who displays Lucas’s determination and perseverance not only on the mat but in the community and classroom as well. The scholarship winner will be announced at the Jackson High School Senior Awards Ceremony.
The requirements for the Lucas Marcelli Wrestling Scholarship are as follows:
• Must complete and submit the application form on or prior to the deadline in the JHS Guidance Office.
• Must be a student in the JHS senior class.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must have participated a minimum of 3 years on the JHS wrestling team including senior year.
• Must have participated in JHS clubs, activities, or additional sports.
• Must have community service experience.
• Must plan on pursuing a college level degree or higher.
• Must complete the Lucas Marcelli Scholarship Essay.
